Ian Crosby

Position: Director

Ian brings a masters’ degree in counselling psychology and post graduate qualifications in human resource management, in combination with a variety of work experiences, to his consultancy work in organisational and individual development.

Ian has consulted and trained in the area of organisational and individual development across a range of public sector agencies for over 25 years. He has particular interests in the areas of communication, team building, stress management and conflict management. He is experienced in building sound human resource practice, particularly performance management, and recruitment and selection processes.

Ian is accredited to use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the EQ-I 2.0 and the EQ 360 instruments and the Strong Interest Inventory.

Ian has significant experience in designing, delivering and evaluating customised training interventions across a broad range of capability areas.

His strength is successfully engaging staff from across the range of levels in an agency. He has worked with organisations in building staff capability and resilience.

Ian has extensive experience in delivering a range of recruitment and selection services, including training of selection panels. He has provided selection services across a range of public sector agencies, particularly in human service and regulatory agencies.

Ian has key experience in working with organisations to plan and deliver changes in HR processes. Experienced in job evaluation and classification, Ian has assisted a number of organisations redevelop their work processes to meet changing needs.

Ian has worked extensively with organisations in periods of change and restructure. Ian has particular interest in assisting staff through periods of change and developing their skills and resilience to prosper in times of organisational restructure.

Ian also has extensive experience in undertaking program and organisational reviews and evaluations to assist organisational development.
